The Camellia House

A new location short ballet written and devised by Victoria A.C. Quin-Harkin MA that is in development and seeking production and finance and choreography that will be a film and documentary project also. It is primarily intended to be art. Investment and high-level tie-ins welcome. I am lookng at World Class ballet ideally and this would require significant investment and professional production. I was applying for Arts Council funding but they clearly do not understand my vision for the project and want to sabotage it and waste my own and my daughter's time during her A'Levels on virtually unwatchable community based stuff for under £30K. Which is stupid and unrealistic that I have zero interest in having any part of, ever - so do reach out if you are interested in hearing more / funding it doing it commercially or can think of a viable alternative at the same level. Meanwhile I will embargo the project and will apply for one 10x more massive and expensive and also involving opera, theatre and ballet instead. That I have no idea how to fund,

Well, what "they" say is often lies so who cares? In 2022 I was told, by counter clerk at Cannes Film Festival (where I was going to pick up the accreditation that I had applied for and assumed was a no brainer - but had not managed to get them to reply to my emails before my flight and was turned away that Jeremy Hervier at Cannes did not believe I worked in film. I do I just have not paid myself yet as I need coproduction and funding in place first and have been sabotaged repeatedly.

I was going with four screenplays with Letters of Comfort, now there are 7 with letters of comfort from the BFI and 15 features in various stages of development.)

Other "they" in the UK say my disability (due to MS or SIP in French) is not real (it is).

Or "they " refer to my films as if they are a passion project that "keeps you busy though" or I am working on as a charity thing. Or they "assume" I need lessons I don't and advice from filmmakers whose work I don't admire. Or to be put on some track with 18 year olds (I'm 52 and a former International Journalist who specialised in conflict and human rights. And also has been a Creative and Art Director and Marketing Consultant.)

Others who are less qualified attempt to waste my time and maladministrate "planning" for my disability to the extent I have to report them to the FBI for sabotage.

Currently people I do not know "they" are claiming Lightning Bolt is not a real company (you can look us up on Companies House in the UK, our company number is 13631578. Or "they" that I am misrepresented myself (I am on IMDB Pro and have been published internationally and am a multi-award winning screenwriter.)

"They" will as ever no doubt have opinions on who I love - as "they" had opinions on my childcare or palliative care for my late Grandma, or who owns my property (me and the mortgage company).

I have ignored the opinions of nonentities all my life.

Johnathan Heap said my pitch for one project was one of the best and richest ideas he had heard recently just prior to Cannes in 2022. My screenplays for The Vampyre, John's Monologue the script and The World Service have won laurels and The Other Mothers Won Best War Screenplay in The Best Script Awards.

A short film won the Viennese actor / coproducer Jakob Maximillian best actor Court Métrage at Avignon in March, and was Officially Selected for VIFA that year. My Child is doing 3 A levels at the boarding school I helped her apply for in 2017. Despite efforts at sabotage. My Memoir is finished and adapted to screen and the 2022 Update feature "Chance Encounters" will include the Cannes desk clerk. So I guess it depends on who you speak to really - and if they actually know me. Or us, or what we do.

But then I discuss this in my embargoed poem "She Must Be Stopped" I am also a poet.

I have currently got a glut of screenplays and films and other projects in various stages of development and would be keen to get some stuff co produced, funded and made. And not have to mess with accounts, overfull computers (yes I really do need 4 TB) and to make some great movies. So if anything here excites you - get in touch. There is also Sang Infernal and Madam Cyn, and another Martial Arts movie set in Egypt and UK called Generational. And potential tv spin offs on 3.
